I am regular and continuous user of adobe premier elements as I make music videos, etc. But since upgrading to windows 10 every time I try to work on music video projects on Adobe I continuously get this pop up message: We have detected an incompatible display driver to get a better and faster playback performance please update my display driver Display driver details: Intel - Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000 3.0.0 - Build 9. I have tried disabling, updating and re-enabling etc. In number of different variations the only thing that seems to work for a small window of time is disabling both of my drivers: Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000 3.0.0 AMD Radeon 6600M and 6700M series I can playback video and edit as normal on Adobe after disabling these drivers but then obviously an error eventually pops up crashing Adobe. I literally have no idea what to do now, I really need help! I would like to keep windows 10 and use my adobe premiere elements. Is there a way around this driver issue?? I dont want to resort to restoring my laptop to factory settings where Adobe always worked back then as I will lose everything else on my system from over the years including the windows 10 system. Kind Regards Bill. > I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 9, and I don't think it is the most recent version. Above, I cited a Wikipedia article states: Adobe Premiere Elements 9 – Released on September 21, 2010 Adobe Premiere Elements 15 – Released on October 4, 2016 Thus, version 9 was released about the same time that Windows 7 was released -- long before Windows 8 and Windows 10. > but surely even if I had a more recent version, then my intel 3000 driver definitely won't work, > if it has stopped working for version 9 since updating to windows 10! I do not follow your logic, and your resistance to try a suggestion that may solve your problem. If somebody has reported a problem similar to yours to Adobe, and Adobe has fixed the problem in their newest version, then you should try that newest version. Driver 9.17.10.4459 Download![]() Sorry but I truly think your mistaking my so-called 'resistance' for genuine lackof tech knowledge = confusion and misunderstanding of the whole situation. I have contacted Adobe now on their help forums to see if they can help because I'm not getting anywhere on the microsoft help forums and after updating my drivers now to apparently the most recent for my system nothing has changed. I have downloaded the latest Radeon Software and AMD Catalyst for my system using this link: After installing the catalyst suite and radeon software adobe temporarily worked for a good few hours but then after restarting my system it comes up with the same driver error message again and adobe wont work once again. I noticed that radeon is now installed in the taskbar and AMD catalyst control is in the start bar so they seem to have installed correctly. B ut when I go to start -> device manager -> and look under display adapters-> It still says I have the Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000 and AMD Radeon 6600M and 6700M Series. Is this supposed to happen after installing the new AMD catalyst and radeon crimson? Do they keep the same name and should the intel still be there? So I'm really not sure if these are still supposed to be there and I'm not sure what I need to do now other than revert back to windows 7 as it seems nothing is working, can someone please offer any help or suggestions?
